The Product: Reverse Pulse Filter Units

Auto Extract Systems' reverse pulse filter units are suitable for the filtration of dry dust and fumes. Filter units can be specified with two, four, six or eight horizontally placed filter cartridges to accommodate air flows between 1,000m³/h to 12,000m³/h. Multiple units can be used in conjunction with one another as part of a singular local exhaust ventilation (LEV) system to accommodate larger airflows. Filter units are suitable for the filtration of dry particles, such as for welding fumes and grinding dust. Two versions of the filter are available, one complete with a standard filter cartridge that’s designed for welding fumes from steel with a chrome/nickel content of less than 30% and another that’s certified for filtration of welding fumes from stainless steel.

Reverse pulse cartridge filter units provide continuous self-cleaning of the filter cartridges with efficient, power pulses of compressed air down torpedo and aerodynamically designed deflectors to remove the debris built up in the filter media to increase the filter's life expectancy. The high-pressure air cleaning system is governed by a programmable to begin a filter cleaning cycle on-demand during operation.

A Complete LEV System

Reverse pulse filter units should be utilised in conjunction with one of our centrifugal fans to move the captured fumes and dust from the capture point to the filtration unit.
